第2回中学生オンラインスピーチコンテスト結果発表!

コロナ禍のため、コンテストは完全オンラインで実施いたしました(2021年11月24日(水)ボームイングリッシュアカデミー岐阜校にて)。
○応募はメールにて、原稿と動画を送っていただく形式と致しました。
○Zoomでも審査員が参加し、密回避。
○審査員は、中学校名を伏せた状態で動画と原稿を見て審査を行いました。

関市立下有知中学校 古田 亜依莉さん

ネイティブ講師審査員からの講評:Airi’s speech on the values she learnt from doing kendo was outstanding. Her delivery was assured and smooth, and the thoughtful ideas she included were both personal and interesting for the listener. Her confidence and preparation were apparent in her voice, manners and facial expressions. An excellent speech informs and engages the listener. Airi’s speech did both. A brilliant all-round speech.

 

関市立下有知中学校 野口 莉央さん

ネイティブ講師審査員からの講評:Rio’s heartfelt speech about being a leader was well-planned, well-composed and delivered with passion. As a listener, we could appreciate her difficulties as a leader, but also understand her view of what a leader could & should be. She finished an enjoyable presentation with a positive message to leave the listener feeling inspired.

 

名古屋国際中学校 鈴木 晶統さん

ネイティブ講師審査員からの講評:Akinori’s speech made the topic of space come alive. It’s dark? No! There is the sun and so many stars! Figures, charts and difficult language including fractions and percentages gave his presentation a professional look & sound. A very concise, accurate, well presented speech, presented clearly, at a good pace. 

恵那市立岩邑中学校 ロイド 唯月さん

ネイティブ講師審査員からの講評:Yuzuki`s confident and expressive delivery style let the listener clearly appreciate her desire to become a pilot. Her speech was well-delivered, with an impressive array of inflections, voice tones and intonation. The listener felt not only the fascination of fighter jets, but also the challenges of becoming a pilot. She delivered her ideas in a way that engaged the listener and made the listener want to hear more about the subject. 

関市立下有知中学校 花畑 笑美さん

ネイティブ講師審査員からの講評:Emi’s speech about wanting to become a translator was very well-composed, and the language and register used was of a very high level. The theme running through it – of persistence in the face of a challenge – was skillfully-arranged. Despite the inclusion of high level vocabulary, her clear pronunciation and the well-arranged content made it easy for the listener to connect with her message. 

関市立下有知中学校 辻 優都さん

ネイティブ講師審査員からの講評:Hiroto delivered a well-thought-out presentation on the important topic of personal responsibility regarding food consumption. His ideas were delivered in a calm, smooth style that was comfortable to listen to, yet included questions which engaged and challenged the listener. Using interesting facts and personal experiences, he considered how something very personal connects to the wider world, and challenged the listener to think about their own personal choices.

We had a difficult choice or difficult choices, choosing from all the speeches.
The speeches are high standard, very high standard, and we’d like to thank the students and the teachers for putting in the time and the effort, and we hope that you enjoy making and presenting those speeches and hopefully you’ll get to use English more in the future. so thank you very much, everyone.

私たちは、すべてのスピーチの中から入賞者を選ぶという、難しい選択をしなければなりませんでした。
スピーチは高水準、非常に高いレベルでした。時間と労力を費やしてくれた生徒さんと先生方に感謝したいと思います。また、これらのスピーチを作って発表することを楽しみ、将来英語をもっと使うようになることを願っています。皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。
